The rapid development of China’s corrugated box market means there is vicious competition resulting in the industry heading into an era of low profits. As technology continues to upgrade, corrugated box manufacturers realize something must be done in order to survive, so they focus on reducing scrap, improving the quality of their output and enhancing their competitive spirit.

In order to help companies cope with the current market trends, Maxcess International has designed a feature specifically for through their bridge guide system, ensuring your production is consistent and reducing scrap at the same time.

The bridge guide consists of a Lazer*Wide SE-34 or Diode Array Camera (DAC-004) Sensors, steering guides, and tension control. With these components, the dedicated bridge guide system can accommodate either edge or center guiding applications for single, double, or triple-faced board, and board width monitoring with analog or digital output.

In the bridge guiding systems, both the Lazer*wide SE-34 Sensor and the DAC-004 Diode Array Camera Sensor operate like a human eye, cleverly mimicking its mannerisms. The Lazer*Wide or DAC sensors used on these bridge guides are immune to plane changes and allow for board width variation and guide point shift without repositioning the sensors, making it an intuitive machine to use. Operators need only to pull the board through a starting point and begin guiding - no adjustments or changes necessary.

It is also worth mentioning that the bridge system eliminates the need for mechanical side guides, which may harm materials; however, all system components are built tough for a demanding environment, are virtually maintenance-free, provides accurate guiding, board width monitoring with no operator adjustments required, and are protected against dust, condensation and contaminants during the entire process.

Maxcess International is renowned for its long history and the amount of capital its built up during these years, with a multitude of factories in different countries around the world; e.g. USA, Germany, Japan, China, etc, and their three main brands under one group:

Fife®, pioneer of web guiding and web inspection;

MAGPOWR®, tension control system providers with the largest install base in the industry;

Tidland®, inventors of the very first air shaft and producers of high quality slitters and winders.

Participating in the SinoCorrugated 2010 next April is shown the confidence of Maxcess International towards the future in the corrugated industry as a global leader in web handling. Maxcess International is determined to help the corrugated box manufacturers survive during this economic crisis while simultaneously enhancing their ability to compete with fierce competition.
