Im using a laser printer, I print a lot in black, but I will need to print high quality color material as well soon. Is it worth getting and inkjet with continuous ink supply? Also, laser printers are not good for your health
Quality seems to be ok based on this vid http://www.youtube.com/inksystemcom#p/u/1/2gMQTpk1QHY |

Laser printers are best for black and white if cost is an issue. Inkjets are better for colour for the odd job. If you want to do larger runs, it is better to use a print house.

A letter with a coat of arms is to be sent to a number of important people. To make the letter look and feel more important the coat of arms is to be embossed. This means that the coat of arms must stand out from the surface of the card / special paper.

It doesn't matter that you have used a black ink a lot.You have to change an inkjet for color printing but remember that there is a filling of that inkjet after ending and you can not give a regular supply.

1. What printer would be recommended? An AIO with fax would be nice.
2. What is the life expectancy on that kind of ink cartridge? I basically am just trying to justify spending the money for a new printer. I'm thinking that I could save money on ink in the long run. Is to stop printing. I found I really didn't need it all. The next thing I learned was to go get a boring black and white laser printer. It's really nice and cheap to print with. Hope this helps, |

One of the most crucial decisions you will have to make to promote your business is the right kind of printing options that you will take. There cannot be anything better than the services of the Dallas Printing companies that provide the best possible services to all types of business in promotion activities. Some of the printing choices that one has are short run print jobs, full colored printing, planographic or lithographic options and a lot more binding options. The full colored printing will be most ideal for printing of books that are full of photographs illustrations re production photos ot artwork or graphics. Additionally it is your decision to go in for a full color cover or case if required. Planographic and lithographic options require a plate to contact with paper and results into top notch quality imagery. The lithographic option is usually made use of in activities that involve high graphics or coffee table books. When it comes to short-run printing jobs, they are essential as they make out distinction between printing books and non printing books. Commercial Minneapolis Printing companies that accept short-run jobs often permit self publishing authors to place orders for less than 1000 units, which ultimately saves a good amount of money and helps them go ahead with own publishing plans. You can get a good variety of binding options even for the short run printing from the commercial Dallas printing services. Binderies, today, can stitch and glue their bindings and make wide range of cases available. Other things you should think about First of all, you would need to select the right type of printer to accomplish the job effectively and efficiently. One must always look for a Dallas printing company in closest proximity so that it is very easy to contact them when need arises. If you want an expert to do some specific printing job, then you need to seek out specialty printing services. The biggest plus point is that the specialty printers focus only on one product thereby ensuring good quality and also maintain the image of the businesses that are single item oriented. A lot of times businesses need to undertake large scale printing for activities such as signs banners and billboards. Your need for attention grabbing advertising can be fulfilled by taking the services of a steadfast and expert Dallas Printing Company. There are loads of most sought after products that the Minneapolis Printing Company offers such as business cards catalogs pamphlets booklets brochures calendars prescription pads note pads restaurant menus rack cards presentation folders carbon-less forms newsletters magazines and envelops and stationery. I have a small home based business. I currently print from a Lexmark X1270. It is an AIO minus a fax. It seems to me like it is blowing through ink like nobodies business. I am maybe getting 50-70 prints through on the Lexmark 17 black ink cartridge ~$20/each. Other problems with this printer is that it doesn't hold very many sheets of paper and pulls through multiple sheets at a time.
I was looking into getting an HP. It looks like they use ink with a much higher page yield (700-800) and the cartridges only cost $34. The questions I have are: 1. What printer would be recommended? An AIO with fax would be nice. 2. What is the life expectancy on that kind of ink cartridge? I basically am just trying to justify spending the money for a new printer. I'm thinking that I could save money on ink in the long run. |
