I need some A1 posters for my shop window, what would be the best combination of paper and ink to give posters that will not fade quickly (ie need replacing in 6 months?)

The ink is the more important factor as long as good quality paper is used.
While indoor inks are in theory more vibrant in colour, they are more likely to fade than outdoor inks. In most cases and for "normal" use, the colour produced by modern outdoor inks are more than good enough to produce eye catching results. |

If you want to preserve the color on your poster you may want to apply the UV coating.
