SinoFoldingcarton 2009, organized by Reed Huayin (Shanghai) International Exhibitions Co., Ltd., successfully closed on April 10 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre. This exhibition was held concurrently with SinoCorrugated 2009, the world’s largest exhibition in the corrugated industry, covering an area up to 51,750 m², it hosted 736 exhibitors and displayed over 1,100 types of cutting-edge corrugated carton equipment and consumable materials. It attracted more than 18,070 professional visitors, who witnessed firsthand the rapid development of the global folding carton and corrugated industries.

The four-day SinoFoldingcarton 2009 attracted a large number of well-known domestic and overseas suppliers of pre-printing, post-printing equipment and consumable materials. Displays primarily included folding carton, rigid box, plastic carton and cigarette packet manufacturing equipment and other related consumables. Leading players in the industry, including BOBST, Tianjin Masterwork, Tokyo Wenhong, Shanghai Yoco, Shenzhen Modern Top, Shanghai Hongjing, Hangzhou Wutai, Lishun Yuan, Zhongke and Tangshan Yuanheng made a grand scale appearance, creating an event of the highest quality for its visitors.

Laminating equipment becomes the focus of attention

The development of laminating equipment is currently reaching a new stage towards perfection, which has been the main focus of attention. Among the crowds at this year’s demonstration, Tokyo Wenhong, Qingdao Meiguang, Hongjing, Dongguan Jialun,  Modern Top Machinery and others contributed to the improvement of production efficiency, reduction of process loss, cutting of production costs and more - all general trends in the packaging machinery market.

Large scale participation of automatic carton gluer manufacturers

At present, the application of automatic carton gluers has become more and more widespread with the rapid development of packaging and printing industries. While labor costs are gradually rising, automatic carton gluers will show their advantages and continue to play a more important role. The carton gluing process has taken the lead in the market. Automatic carton gluing equipment manufacturers came in unprecedented numbers to the SinoFoldingcarton 2009. Due to the large variety and complex structure of rigid box, its manufacturing process involves an extensive range of knowledge.
